Aborting the Package Process due to previous errors

Hi,

Just started using NuGetter to create my packages as part of the release build and have hit a small problem. I am getting the error "Aborting the Package Process due to previous errors" but there are no build errrors (a few warnings but nothing major).

The package is very simple (see the following XML). I'm a little lost as to what is wrong any suggestions.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<package xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/packaging/2011/08/nuspec.xsd">
<metadata>
    <id>$id$</id>
    <version>$version$</version>
    <title>$title$</title>
    <authors>$author$</authors>
    <owners>$author$</owners>
    <requireLicenseAcceptance>false</requireLicenseAcceptance>

    <copyright>Copyright UK 2014</copyright>
    <language>en-GB</language>
    <tags>nextgen common</tags>
</metadata>
<files>
    <file src="Core.Interfaces.dll" targ" />
    <file src=".Core.Shell.dll" target="lib" />
</files>
</package>

Well silly me looks like the error was in the nuspec file, can't use parameters for ID etc. If I code the correctly the build works.
